2016 Cougar Batt Disconnect ?

Last night I took our Cougar 5vr to work, I unplugged the light cord to the truck and turned the battery disconnect switch OFF... I know there are drains while sitting... This morning the battery gauge read 1/3.... What the heck ??? No lights on, no nothing,,, except hard wired detectors I figure... Is that disconnect switch useless ?????

I keep it plugged in at home so the battery was 100% when parked for 11 hours...

Electrolyte levels in all the cells good ?
Have the battery load tested , just because it's near new (2016 Rv) and was on charge doesn't mean it's good.

Went through the same. Took my 2016 Cougar to the dealer and told them the battery was bad. They tested and agreed. Since a 8 month old battery was being replaced I had them add a 2nd battery in parallel with a 100% cut off switch. Problem solved.

Good to know.... Where did you have the second battery located ???? There is not room in our battery compartment..

My battery is located on the curb side in the front compartment under the 5er nose. Added the 2nd right beside it. Vented it into the 1st battery box so another hole was not needed. Added a total cutoff switch also.

Don't know everything that is still connected but I do know the auto level system is not killed by that switch. I'm going to install a REAL kill switch as soon as I get a chance.
