Adding 2nd Battery to a Cougar 26sab

This question is directed to owners of a late model Cougar Xlite 26sab's. I would like to add a 2nd battery. Obviously can't put it in the same compartment with the OEM battery. Have any of you added a 2nd battery. I would have to put it on the other side of that metal partition in the front storage bay but I'm concerned that the flimsy metal flooring is not strong enough to hold the 45 or so lbs.
Has anybody added a 2nd battery in that area & if so did you beef up the flooring or just leave it as is?

I have the 27sab and did just that and moved two 6 volt batteries to the location you described. I did nothing to the floor so far. It seems strong enough to hold them. I will probably find a way to attach a strap to the floor to keep it from moving around, but that was all I was planning.
