Heat?

Just bought a new cougar X Lite 5th wheel trying to figure out why when I turn the furnace on the the AC turns on and uses the fan to blow air around is this a mistake or is this part of the plan?

Welcome to the iRV2, I wish I could help you. I have the Montana High Country and just turned my heat on the last trip to Colo. and just had the propane on and turned it to heat. It took a couple of minutes before we felt some heat in the floor vents. Hope you get it figured out.

I did figure it out it was a setting on the thermostat as I was scrolling through the settings from fan to air conditioning to heat the problem was my fan setting was on high instead of automatic when I was in the heat mode I was able to find a YouTube video that straighten me out but thank you very much for your help

I just found my High Country does not have insulated ducts under the floor. It used thin dryer hoses. Air in the underfloor needs to heat up to get wram air in back. They also use a 2 inch hose to heat the outside air and basement.
