Keystone slide outs

We have a 2015 Montana that has major problems with the kitchen slide and minor problems with the dining area slide. The dealer said they are seeing a lot of slide out problems. We are waiting for Keystone to approve the repairs.

Keystone has a recall on some of their slides. It's related to a set of screws that hole the slide on to a chain. It affects a number of models, but not all serial numbers in those models. That pin/screw breaks and the slide releases.

We have a Carbon 327 and so far have had zero size issue. I'm not (at face value) a fan of the pulley and chain slide system, but I've had RV techs tell me that it's a better system than some of the more complicated systems that use counters.

Are you having an issue? What issue in particular are you seeing?

Slide issue - 2015 Keystone

Have our 2015 Keystone Carbon 27 in for some warranty work and the work order came back with an added item for a slide out motor. I told him it was broken I had used it the night before with no issue. He said that it is not working now and will have to be replaced (under warranty). Then he tells me the motors are small and they have seen them break down after one use. Of course no one in sales told me this.

Not sure how to crank it in if the motor goes out?
