More Cougar touch panel nonsense

Not only do I despise this idiot panel but they put the main lights on it. ???? Why is there not a normal light switch at the door so you can turn the lights on when entering the RV? You have to fiddle around and find the under cabinet light over the sink to get enough light to find the idiot panel so you can power it up then turn on the main lights. This is ridiculous.

Agreed. Those touch panels are even worse when the temps inside are cold. I have replaced many.

Jeff; Does your Cougar touch panel have the Cougar logo that is backlit with a switch? Mine does and you can leave this on when you leave the camper and this will provide some luminosity as you enter the camper. My DW says that ours is too bright; she shuts it off and will never turn this on. Also are your master light switches backlit when they are on; this usually will provides enough low ambient light to see the other switches to allow you to turn them on. As we always leave the porch light on when leaving and the backlit switch will provide enough light to see other switches on the master panel.
