Warranty reimbursement question

Hello, I have a Keystone trailer I bought in September of 2018 and so it is still under warranty. In the trailer the microwave that doesn't shut off until you slam the door about 10 or 12 times to finally get it to turn off. I called the manufacturers of the microwave who in turn told me to call Keystone who gave me the number of some local Keystone certified repair shops. When I called they told me to bring in the trailer and they will a look at it, I will pay out of pocket and then I have to have Keystone reimburse me. Is this the normal way to do it and if so, has anybody had any issues with Keystone not reimbursing? Thanks for any advice you guys can provide

I would tell you that you would get a better response in the Keystone owners forum, but it would be better to ask the moderators to move the question there.

Keystone authorized a repair at the shop....shop SHOULD be getting paid for warranty work DIRECTLY from Keystone

You need to contact Keystone Warranty and CONFIRM that you would get reimbursed BEFORE you go laying out any monies

The dealer should contact Keystone and get the repair/replacement authorized with no cost to you.
