Where's every one going for the 4th of July?

I have had a spot reserved at Jordan Lake, here in NC since February. It's pretty hard to find a good spot anywhere for the 4th weekend. Just wondered who's going where, and if anyone else was going to be at Jordan Lake? Also, how far out did you reserve your site?

We stay home on major holidays. Do not like crowds. Grand kids live a mile from us. They come over and swim in the pool and I burn some meat. Life is good.

We will be on a lake in Montana. We also like to lay low on holidays.

I'll be with friends in Bristol, TN at an RV rally. I full time and have learned to look ahead and try to get a site booked on holidays. Not looking for a good site, just a place to park.

We booked a spot a few months ago with some friends at a local COE park, McKinney.
We initially got an interior spots hoping that we'd be away from all the rednecks on the lake. LOL
I hope we chose wisely.

Acadia is my favorite place on Earth! Color me jealous although I'm doing my best to hold up by staying at Nehalem Bay State Park in Oregon.

Watkins Glen International for the Sahlen's 6 hour IMSA race for the weekend before the 4th and then off to the state park for the 4th itself. Need all those steps to burn off all the food consumed the race weekend.

We will probably land back to San Diego about then.

We've been on the road since January/February. Socal to New Jersey via southern route, then back to the west across northern route.
