I will be the new owner of a 2007 Travel Supreme Select 45". I will be asking a few questions as time goes on. I have kept up with this forum for some time. I wish it was more active. Anyone on here know if there is a national or regional gathering of Travel Supremes on an annual or less basis?

Thanks,
Miles

Congratulations on becoming a TS owner. You will really like it.
I've also wondered if there are any TS get togethers but have not had any luck connecting.
I'm in Calif so it would be nice if there were some groups here. We'll see.
This site has been very helpful for issues that come up. Good luck.

Not to take anything away from irv2, but there is a TS owners site at:

I'm in the market for an 07 or 08 Select Limited. Could sure benefit from any lessons learned from those of you who just took the plunge!

Have been looking at a number of different coaches and best I can tell is that there is no better value new or used than the TS Select/Limited. Even new coaches don't offer some of the features and fitments the TS does. I'm not a fan of the layout of newer coaches with the single long slideout.

Ikold,
I don't look at the purchase as taking a plunge. As you have stated an outstanding coach in many ways. Do as much research as you feel necessary. I'm planning on a trip to Precision Paint to get the X bracing mod. I have the D-14 model and can't find the fresh water holding tank drain valve.

Aviator, I'd be surprised if it wasn't like mine. In the plumbing bay there will be a 3 way, white, plastic valve attached to the floor near the forward section of the bay. Turn it 90 degrees towards the tanks to a horizontal position and it should drain. Look underneath and you'll see water running out.

Thanks Slabman. I was looking at the same drain. When I opened the valve air would bubble into the tank from the drain line. Found that the overflow lines under the holding tank on the opposite side of the coach have shut off valves on them, and they were closed. Now I have a problem with the refrigerator when not on shore power. The inverter goes in to override and shuts off, no power to refrigerator. Any suggestions?

Sounds like the inverter doesn't like what's feeding them...the batteries. I'd check S. G. on each of them as a starting point. They need to be at least 1.27 or may need replacing. I'm betting one or two don't meet muster. If so, I'd replace all of 'em. The best bang for the buck is the golf cart batts at Sams.

BTW...the chassis batts may also be suspect, although not a contributor to this problem. After about 5 years' use I got new ones from NAPA for about $75.00 a piece.

Magnum inverter tech thinks the internal board in the inverter is suspect.

I suspect the bateries as if they are a few years old they may drop to a low voltage under load. Put a meter on the batteries check voltage , then turn on the inverter. I have put the heavy duty Trojan golf cart batteries in my coach.
