Smile 2001 36KSO1 Electrical Problem

Had everything running with generator on. Turned exhaust fan on and all power in coach went off. Puugged shore power and still no power in coach except to microwave and steps. With generator running still only power to microwave and steps. No lights, A/C controls, no power in coach. Checked invertor and ground faults, breakers, etc. and cannot get power in coach. House batteries were at full charge before and chassis bateries are new. Battery boost switch on and still no power in coach. Any T/S owner out there have any suggestions, thanks

Check the reset button on the inverter, mind is on the back side press to reset. do you have a surge protector on the coach ? check the GFI plugs reset those. turn everything off and check each main breaker by switching off and on . this is some ideas, even tho you have check these already hope this helps

Thanks, we are in a 2008 Insignia and just sold our KSO1 and the buyer is having this problem. It is under extended warranty and I was just trying to get help before he calls mobile repair.

Are you saying you lost both 12v & 110v?

After checking all the breakers and the 12v fuses, I'd start with the 12v system, use a volt meter (gen off), start at the batteries and take readings into the inverter area fuses, then up to the 12v fuses inside. After that part is good and working turn to the 120v side.

Do any of the outlets supplied by the inverter work? I'd think, yes, since the microwave works. For the other 120v needs you will need to verify that you have power coming into the main circuit panel. If not, then the transfer box is suspect.

We have a 2002 38KS01, so they should be very similar.

Thanks, where are the inverter fuses located. The units should be alike. There is no light on the inverter showing it is working with shore power on.

In the inverter compartment, the inverter will have a 25amp circuit breaker button in the lower right corner near the negative 12v input cable. The red 12v feed to the inverter has a large inline fuse as well, seen in the photo background. Below the inverter, behind a hinged panel, are 12v fuses for slides, main 12v power relays, etc.

Thanks so much. Our inverters are different and does not have the 25 amp reset. It has 2 breakers which has been reset. Will pass on informatioin about inline fuse and fuses behind hinged panel. Thanks for pictures does not get any better than that!
