Is anyone using this on an 8.3 Cummins in a 2001 TS? On ours unable to find the connector in the front of the coach.
If so what are the display options you are using-laptop-netbook-small touch screen, Ipad like device?
Thanks for the comments

I have a different year and engine, but mostly like the same chassis (Spartan Mountain Master). On mine the connector is under the dash just to the left of the steering column at about the height where the column turns downward towards the floor. It is a bit difficult to see and I also had a short (3") cable connected to it with some odd connector that I removed. So far I use my 17" laptop, but it is too large to mount so I am considering a smaller notebook (10" or 12"). Good luck.

Red face VMspc

Thanks for the response.
I have the same bundle--rather confusions a bunch of endings--none corresponding to the supposed connection for the VMspc.
Beyond that I find the web site for them--rather old--seems as tho they are not keeping up with the revolution in netbooks--tablets, etc:.
I would like to use a tablet, but do not want to tied to
Thanks for the reply--will look further for the connection--sure it is there..

The older VMSpc that I bought for our 2000 DSDP and now use in the 2002 DSDP works fine on an Acer 7" Netbook.
Do any of VMSpc's competitors run on a tablet?

I have an '02 with the K2 chassis, and my connector is directly beneath the steering wheel, and is a round connector roughly the diameter of a silver dollar.

I use an Acer tablet running Windows 8, and VMSPC works flawlessly. The tablet is a great form factor and the touchscreen is nice to switch back and forth to Streets and Trips, I'm also planning on running side and rear cameras to it here in the near future.

diagnostic port

Look as I might--cannot find the port. Searched all the way from the accelerator pedal to the control box to the left of the driver. Many wires with small empty plugs, but none the size for the diagnostic port.
It so happens there is one in the engine compartment.
Love to hear from someone with a 2001 with 8.3 Cummins.38Dso3
Guess my next step is to talk with Spartan--their wiring diagram does show a port up front.
Thanks for your reply's
