It looks like you have determined which breaker runs the outlet. If it is not on the inverter panel it will not run without house or generator power (I am assuming one of the panels you mention is the inverter panel, it will usually have a 30A "main" breaker and several smaller breakers).

As slabman mentioned, you may be able to move the circuit. Basically, you have to remove the wire from the house panel and install it in the inverter panel. This will most likely involve adding a circuit breaker to the inverter panel as well (usually, the mfr does not install spares). Adhering to electrical codes is important here, so you may want to consult an electrician if you are unsure on how to proceed.

Well that helps that I don't have a problem.

This does raise one more question. For the folks that have the optional basement TV system are you able to watch TV off of your inverter? Or is this where you get the second inverter as an option (like Slabman has)? This is what started this whole thread because I installed my own TV in the forward compartment for tailgating. I didn't want to run my generator while watching it or run an extension cord from the inside.

On mine, I have to have the genny running to use the external tv, the inverter does not provide power to the basement, wish it did, but it does not. just my experience. gene

Thanks Gene that answered my last question. I thought maybe they would have provided power to those that have the optional external TV.
