I doubt any were wired for CB. You will just need to get a drill and make a hole for the wire. Be sure to seal it well.

You can run the red (hot wire) to the fuse box and the ground to a screw in the metal somewhere. You should have a fuse in the red wire that most cb's come with. The coax may be tricky just find a way to get it to your antenna. This usually works for most CB radios. You also can use a cigarette lighter plug in if need be. If you know very little about CB radio get a shop to install, you need a good antenna ground and also need to check the SWR so you dont burn up the radio.

MIne came from the factory with the coax coiled under the dash. No wiring for power preinstalled.

Look on top you may have a ant or a mount.I have not owned but 2 class A units ,but both were prewired for CBs. The coax and power were folded over the steering boot. These were on Monaco units.
good luck---Bill

What does Obama have to do with "Is the coach wired for CB?"? Answer: Noting.

What do political comments say to us readers:: The poster wishes to irk the moderators into taking action. Hence, you will notice this is not a political comment and my opinion on politcs (Save for it does not belong here) is ... missing.

Now to the topic:

Most "Wired for CB" coaches are wired with a coax to the roof.. The problem with this is the roof is what 12 feet up on my coach (Give or take a few inches) and this greatly limits the length of antenna I can put up there.

The difference between a side mounted or mirror mounted antenna and a roof mount amounts to perhaps a couple of car lengths range wise, (in short not much).

The difference between a longer v/s a shorter antenna.. Much more than that.

IF they would learn to mount 'em on the mirror, Pre-wired woudl be great.
