Changed house batteries now no power

I did a stupid thing I changed my house batteries with the air on in the coach. When I took the positive cable loose the air conditioning shut off I did not think much of this as the control power for the air is 12v dc. Fast forwarded to all batteries changed out and connected and I have no dc power in the coach. I rechecked my connections on the batteries and All Ok. I checked the battery supply voltage to the inverter, 12 v dc. Does anyone have advice for me on what to check?

Most battery disconnect a don't switch the inverter cables, only the house 12 volt loads.
Double check that a cable was missed.

Is the inverter producing AC?
Which model inverter?
Does the inverter have breakers on it?

Is it possible a cable was not reattached or placed in wrong spot?

Recheck your cable connections , and make sure they are connected properly . Post a photo of the connections.

Yes the inverter is producing ac. There is not breakers on the inverter just a button on the front. The button has not popped out. The brand of the inverter is Intellac

This implies that the batteries are installed correctly, the high amperage fuse is intact and the battery shut-off switch is on. I would look at the DC fuse panel to see if it is getting 12v and work back or forward from there.

I can jumper the battery shut off solenoid and the dc will come on. I checked the shut off switch at the stair entry and jumpers it and did not get any dc. So I am convinced that the problem is between the switch and the solenoid. Do you see that I am missing anything?

Do you have a battery control center with a 12v circuit breaker such as the one in the bottom left of this one ?
The black buttons are resettable.

There are other threads here that address problems with the “salesman” switches, which sounds like the one you are talking about. I would check the solenoid control contacts to see if the switch is supplying 12vdc. If it is, then the problem is the solenoid. If not, pull out the switch and see if one side has 12vdc. If it does, does it go to the other side when you press the switch? If not, the switch is faulty.
