CO and smoke detectors

I have a 2004 TS dso4 and I can't find the fuse for my co monitor, I've looked everywhere and tested every fuse and can't find where they are fed from. I have a schematic for a 2005 but it don't pertain to my coach, id hate to replace them with battery operated ones , the units are good but there is no power getting to them. If anyone has a schematic for a 2004 dso4 I sure could use a copy 😊

Since there doesn't seem to be any circuits for them are you sure yours are not battery operated? Most are.

My propane and CO monitors each have their own 1 Amp fuse. On my rig they are located in the small electrical compartment in front of the driver's side front tire. There are three Bussman fuse blocks in there and they are in the bottom block. If my memory serves me correctly, they are fuses 5 & 6. They are the only 1 Amp (brown color) fuses in there so they kinda stand out. Good luck.

I do have the fuse markings for the 2005 and that's what it says,I'm wondering if the 2004 and the 2005 are the same but maybe the previous owner changed the size of the fuse, in my coach those are 20 amp and they
Are good fuses

Is the label still on the fuse cover? If so, it should identify the load (ie: CO detector) and fuse size (ie: 1A). It is possible it was replaced by a previous owner and once that happens, anything goes. If it really is for the CO detector, then 20A is too large.

When you say they are good, did you check it with an ohm meter or just do a visual inspection? The reason I ask is because I have seen fuses that look good, but have a small break in the fuse material and are actually open. I would just replace it with the correct size and see what happens.

Also, although you would think the 04 and 05 wiring would be pretty much the same, one thing I've learned around here is that there is very little consistency between TS coaches. Based on conversations with other owners I've noted differences between coaches of the same year and model. Good luck.

on my 03, the fuses for the detectors are located where the the inverter/converter is located and that compartment is just behind the rear passenger wheel
