I've had to have the windshield reset several times times and have heard that an outfit in Elkhart, Indiana can cross-brace the windshield to solve the flexing (vexing) problem. Elkhart is a long way from the Galveston,TX area. Is anyone familiar with the problem and might know about a Texas area repair facility? Thanks, RM

Just a suggestion. You might call Thornton's RV Repair in Magnolia and see if Gene Thornton has done one. I wouldn't be surprised if he has.

I also have had to have mine reset, and would like to find somewhere in Texas to have it braced. If anyone has pictures or diagrams of how it is braced...I could even do it myself. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I took mine to Elkhart to Travel Supreme Motor Homes, Fifth Wheel RVs | Elkhart, IN and Bishop christensen. He did a quick, great job and I have had no further problems. I do NOT know of anyone in Texas who does this work. just my experience.

Thanks, to everyone who has tried to help me find Bishop, however, all my attempts to contact him have failed. Midwest does not return calls or Emails...perhaps they closed or are not very responsive. Does anyone have any additional cdontact info for Bishop or Midwest?

Thanks again to all who have responded to my posts!!!

Rod

I have 2 numbers for Bishop if they are still current.
Work 888 594-2309
cell 574 606-6928
Give them a try. Not sure if they are current as I haven't used them in a year or so.
Good luck.
