Unhappy Door will not open when temp is freezing

Has anyone experienced this problem ? My coach is a 04 TS 38 foot ds04 and this only happens when it's real cold.

Thanks so much

Are you talking about the entry door?

My door works fine in temps as low as -10f.
However, sometimes mine will not open if the sun shines directly on it for a few hours in warm, (75f +), temps.
Apparently the expansion/contraction of the sidewall and/or door is causing both of our door problems, (unless ice is forming where your door meets the frame).

I wonder if there is dew draining or frost melting into the door sills and then freezing. Maybe an adjustment after you level the coach might force it to drain/melt in another direction... Just a thought

That could be. I don't see any moisture when I finally do get the door open.....as soon as the temp warms up a bit it works fine...strange.

Smile Door issue

Sounds like moisture inside the door is freezing the latch assy. Take the door panel off and spray some WD 40 on the latch assy. I had to take mine apart to adjust the latch when the handle would not open the door from the outside.
