Does anyone know if there is a manual way to close the slides?

Thanks.

Thanks Lou. This is the same information given to us by our technician, so it sounds like the only solution if the power goes out.

We've only got around 8,000 miles on our 05 coach because we've had so many problems with it, we just stored it away for a few years. But we're ready to face it again and want to be ready for any unexpected issues not covered in the manual.

Regards,

Debi

Debi,

Sorry to hear that you've had problems with the coach. Based on the folks I have communicated with over the last few years, that doesn't appear to be the norm. What kind of issues have you experience?

Lou

Well, it'd probably be much simpler if I started with what was good...the engine. Fortunately, we purchased the 7 year extended warranty and have gotten most of the bugs out. The warranty is almost up, so we're going to attempt to take it out for a little two week excursion to make sure things are running properly before the warranty expires. We live at the beach in Southern California and there is an RV park about a mile away from our home, so we won't be too far in case "The Monster" gives us any major problems.

Now that TS has gone belly up, these posts are really a lifesaver. As you may or may not be aware, TS's manual and wiring are very poorly done.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love our coach, but hate its behavior. If it wasn't for me begging for its life, it would have been dropped off in the ocean long ago. Lol

Regards,

Debi

Hopefully the "bugs" have been worked. These things do require a fair amout of attention. Good luck on your trip.

Although TS closed, JAYCO purchased the company and is making nearly the same RV. They have been very helpful with my questions. They are knowledgable about the way TS did things as many of the current staff used to work at TS. Many parts are the same between the two brands.

Well it seems my user and password problem with getting on here has been corrected............
Rick and Deb sorry to hear about your troubles as Sailor Lou said The issues with Trav Sup are kinda few and far between
I bought mine took it for a 5 minute drive and its been good from there on in
other than tires and batteries
Things will be getting better, you bought a great coach and soon the Sun will shine and you will be whistling and dancing with sunglasses

Thank you all for the very helpful information and uplifting words of encouragement.

We are meeting the repairman tomorrow (again) and will hopefully, have most of the "bugs" in check and will be taking it out of storage for a short trip.

This post has been a Godsend.

Safe driving to you all.

Hi zink:

Just opened your attachment and it appears to be the manual for a Newmar slide out. Is it the same for the Travel Supreme Select?

Thanks,

Debi

The manual is not Travel Supreme, but the slide is the same. The electrical will be different, but the mechanical
parts and operation will be the same. This slide was developed by Newmar.

There is but you need tools, this information should also be in your coach manuals. You should know how to do this just in case your slides break down while on a trip. larry@larrydaly.com
