Lately we have noticed the cabinet doors under the main TV area are misaligned, suggesting the outside wall is lower than in the middle over the frame rails. Using a level, I can see floor slopes to the outside in this area and under the shower, which is about midway between frt. and rear drive axles on this 45 ft. coach. So today, while pulling out of a driveway onto a crowned road, I again experienced a cracked driver's side windshield. TS did install the X-bracing before they closed up, so I thought I was somewhat protected from this occurrence.

Now I'm wondering if I have broken frame members in the basement area which has led to the door misalignment and enough flexure to crack the windshield. Has anyone experienced any of these issues and where might I find a good frame shop to have this checked out? Also need a windshield replacement vendor. I'm now in the Minneapolis area, heading south from here to Dallas.

Bob, jeez, sorry to hear about all that for sure. As you likely know windshields appear to me to be cheaper in the Elkhart area than anywhere else (I got one for under $600). As to a frame shop there is one of the best in oklahoma city.It is in the far west part of town on west Reno on past the council road exit to the next exit were the truck stops are. Go north of I 40 to Reno and turn right(east) about 1/4 mile. As you have guessed I am giving directions because the name will not come to me. It USED to be called City Spring but is now something else it is on the south side of the road between Reno and I-40. WHEN I can think of it I will post below. I used to have tandum grain trucks with 24 ft. beds and believe me they are the best with frame issues of anybody I have ever seen. The WILL find out if you have frame problems. Of course, Spartan would be a logical choice also. I THINK the place isa NAPA dealer now. Take care my friend, The new 12 Entegras are looking better and better. They have fixed the concern in the kitchen with storage, drawers, more lighting and a bigger vanity in the slide by making the slide bigger. Hey, you want to buy my 11 and I might get a 12??? LOL Seriously, hope you problem is not too serious.

Gene

Ps Finally found it here, this is a very very good shop.

Do you have access to that area from the basement or is it in the area where all the tanks are located? I'd start by crawling around down there looking for something obvious (ie: broken weld or possibly water damage to the floor structure). Hopefully it is something with easy access. Good luck.

Guess we all have to stop trying to make these beautiful motorhomes offroad vehicles. What a pain. Sorry to hear your window cracked. Sounds like what happened to mine after I had it replaced. Mine happened in a paved KOA campground. Still haven't had it fixed. In 2 years I haven't had anymore problems but I'm sure as soon as I replace the windshield it will crack right away again. That is my luck. Have a good day and good luck.
