Goofed Up

Well I goofed up and scraped the panel that encloses the hot water heater on the side of my Insignia. Can someone tell me how to pull this panel off so I can take it to a body shop for repair. It's the panel before the rear wheel on the right side. Thanks Scott

Drive MH to body shop.
Have them remove compartment door.

Not much help Old-Biscuit, but some us have been there, done that and it’s pretty simple. First remove the hot water heater cover and the stainless steel furnace cover (provided you have one of those), which are held on with the visible external screws and caulk. Then look at the bottom of the panel and you’ll see two sheet metal screws up into the basement frame. Remove the sheet metal screws the entire panel swings up on hinges, just like some of the basement doors. Remove the screws on the hinges and the door comes off (at least that’s how it works on my Envoy). Good luck.

OP is looking right at.......

I only have 'internet vision'

Suggestion was based on OPs lack of being able to figure it out and still having benefit of actually seeing it

OP was smart to post a question about his TS on the TS forum...so that a fellow TS owner might give him a clue about hidden fasteners...or how complicated it might be.
