Hornet security system

My new to me 2008 envoy has a hornet security system? I am looking for information to operate the system and how to program the keyless entry.

I never heard of a factory supplied system, was it a previous owner add-on? If no one jumps in with first hand experience I'd start here:

Hornet | Valet | Merlin - Vehicle Security, Remote Start & Motorcycle Security Systems

What I am trying to do is find a way to reset the key pad at the door. The previous owner has not used it. I tried the last four numbers in the vin number as this was suggested to me in a previous form with no luck. I removed the panel by the passenger seat and found a hornet security system. I presumed that it was the control for the keyless panel. Maybe not.

I do not have a key pad on my rig, but I do recall others speaking of the "Essex" system. Sorry I can't help, but I'm willing to bet you'll get the proper response soon from others on this forum.

Not the Last Four Digits of the VIN, but...

On my system, it was the last four digits of the serial number of the actual security lock system. That serial number was on the bottom of the "black box" that was the brains to the system. On my coach the "black box" was mounted in the forward electrical compartment -- not sure where it would be on your MH. I'd trace wires. But wHen you eventually find the "black box" you will then know for sure what brand it is -- you can reach out to their CS department for re-programming guidance. \ken

My serial number is located on a sticker with many other numbers and info
I found it in the area of the main breaker box
(bathroom cabinet in my coach)
