Glad all is well. As noted in my first post, "check voltage and then check connections" as a first step.

As many posters said, your symptom pointed to low house battery voltage.

A loose connection most often promotes the development of corrosion. Cleaning and ensuring battery connections are solid is part of routine preventive maintenance. If you coat connections with a compound to prevent oxidation it will help prevent a further occurance.

Good luck.
