Question for Travel Supreme owners. We just bought our 2002 class a 41ft Travel Supreme. We got our coverage through Progressive, which we have used for years. Our premium is going to be around $3400 a year. We are in Texas. We are fulltime, mostly stationary. Both over 60, multi car discount.
I have read others state that their premiums a not nearly as high for their class a, newer but maybe a different make. So my question is for other TS owners what are your premiums running. I had an agent suggest it was because of the make of the motor home.
TIA

wow- my fulltime policy in idaho for my 98 HR Endeavor 37cds is 700.00

3400 for the age of your rig seems way high regardless of make. sure they dont show it as a 2012 or something?

my has actual cash value
under/un insured
2500 deductible
0 deductible glass coverage
full timer policy with NO trip interruption coverage because they say you arent on a trip lol

We just bought a 2004 TS 40DS04 three weeks ago. Used Geico w/multi car and I'm paying $110/month for the RV. However, we are not full-timers

The only sure way to get a comparison is to get estimates on the exact same coverage from several different sources. Things like deductibles, liability limits, replacement or actual cash value, plus more all play into the equation. What someone else pays really can not be compared to your policy.

I Would suggest getting a quote from several of the companies that advertise in the major magazines.

That being said, your premium does sound high to me.

By the way, WELCOME to the Travel Supreme community. We are glad you joined us!

I got a quote from guieco today that was even higher. Our coach is a 41 ft 500 hp cummins.
Best answer I get from the insurance companies is the value of the coach is what is driving the cost of insurance.
