Looking at 42 ft select

We are looking to purchase our second MH. Ran across 2004 select which looks nice. Asking 105k. What can you tell me about TS quality. Should I be afraid of one this old?
Of course owner says well maintain. Tires are new. Seems to be loaded except has splendid instead of stacked unit. This hopefully could be replaced. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Cathy

Cathy, I would suggest reading through the threads on this forum. That's what we did before we purchased our TS. It took a couple of evenings but by the time we were finished my decision had been made. All the info you could ever want is available from some of the most knowledgeable Travel Supreme owners.

TS quality was very good. If everything checks out after a good inspection you will have a great coach. 2004 is no concern, Select was the top line model. Good luck.

Obviously being owners we are a bit bias, but when I was shopping around I did a lot of research and narrowed my selection down to TS, Country Coach and Foretravel. TS was my first choice because of quality and floorplan/styling. What put it over the edge was TS also provided a lot of coach for the $$$$. Provided the one you are looking at wasn't abused, you'll most likely become another happy owner, esp. with a Select. Good luck with your search.

I to am very happy..do read the threads and make sure you learn about x-bracing as this is the biggest issue you may run into. There are plenty of comments on what the issue may be and how to correct it. Good luck with your purchase.

love our 2003 45 ft TS select

We were looking for a coach to go full time in 4 months ago . At that time i did not know anything about the TS brand , we were looking at Country coach , and Monaco , Well my wife found a 2003 TS , quad slide 500hp king bed , all Ele. residential refer, all granite counters . Man I am glad we bought it we paid 100k, milage was 32,000 400 hrs on a 12.5 gen , we now have over 40,000 miles and 750 gen hrs , We found out how nice these coaches are after the fact. This coach was ahead of its time . We got very very lucky ! So thats my 2 cents happy shopping ,

You can't beat the quality of these units ... and seems 03-06 had some of the finest workmanship .... not that the others aren't great ... but this was certainly the hay day ...
We are lovin our for certain ... full time coming up on our first year .....
