Power issues

Ok I'm stumped again imagine that. So not sure exactly what is happening but...generator will not start, electric drivers seat will not move, steps will not retract. Thought house batteries were dead which would explain generator but certainly not step retracting and power seat operation. I have had batteries charged and supposedly had a broken wire on house battery replaced. Is there a possibility that the above items not working is connected and if so suggestions on where to start looking to correct the issue. MH starts every time so no issues there. Kind baffled? Any suggestions as always greatly appreciated!

Do you have power to your jacks? Do your 12 volt lights work? Rook

Does sound like a 12V issue to me. Most of the time it is a ground connection not making good electrical contact somewhere. Get you voltmeter and start checking at one end to the other. I usually start at the battery and go toward the device I am troubleshooting. Good luck.

With 2 more or less independent 12 VDC power systems what you are describing is possible. I concur with chocks in that it's meter time. It could just be the house system is acting up or you could have more than one problem. I'd get the house working OK then see what was left.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Should have started with the most obvious even though I had asked about batteries being charged and told yes they were...guess what if they were I surely need new batteries 😡. So after breaking the meter out and jumping generator all the things that weren't working miraculously begin working 🙄. Battery store in the morning. Again thanks for your help!
