Rear of coach not lifting

After setting most of the winter, I started my 2004 40DS04 and the rear end wouldn't lift off the tires. Is it something as simple as a stuck air valve? Where should I begin looking? (Spartan Chassis)

Scheduled to leave for a small trip Friday morning.

Thanks in advance
Bryan

Do the entire operation all over

Release jack/air drop then jacks up

Let air build up first

It has often taken me three times to get the air to full pressure and every thing up and staying up.

Let us know your progress.

Thank you Busskipper. You were exactly right. I recycled the jacks, started the unit.... repeated..... repeated.... and on the 3rd time the rear end lifted up.

I appreciate this forum

Is this an issue unique to Travel Supreme? Spartan Chassis? or just all motorhomes in general?

Think it applies to all - but - TS in particular has had issues with solenoids to the air valves and being able to recharge the Air Bags after dumping or sitting.

Ride height valve operation

Check that your ride height valve is set correct and is operating correctly. The Cummins service center in Everett, WA damaged ours last year and had to replace the valve. During the repair they did not replace the rod attachment part (rubber part in photos). We were on our way to the FMCA convention last summer and had the part break at 65 mph. The rear bags deflated at speed and made for interisting driving. The service center in Montana found the issue and replaced the part and adjusted the height. Since then the bags inflate when the levelers are retracted.
