Hoo boy, the x-bracing to fix frame flex that causes windshields to break is no job to perform from some photos posted online!

I had it done before I had windshield problems, and the reduced flex was immediately noticeable as I drove away from the shop. Wonderful improvement, and I hadn't been unhappy! Much tighter, smoother riding & turning.

Midwest Custom RV in Elkhart will do the work or sell you plans. Precision Painting in New Bremen, IN will also do the work.

Really hard to shoot the braces. One is vertically between basement bays between frame rails, one is horizontally under the basement in a large X between frame rails, and one is vertically behind gennie between frame rails. The vertical ones have two straight uprights with an X between them.

Midwest did mine. I've heard Precision talk about doing another X somewhere and using larger square tubing than mine has.

People talk about doing the bracing to remedy the windshield problems they have, but I think it is such a HUGE benefit to the front ride and feel for steering, that I'm glad I did it just for that.

Above, I said Precision Painting in New Bremen, IN. It's just Bremen, IN, which is about 15 miles south of Elkhart.
