Travel Supreme?

We are looking tonight at a 2001 Travel Supreme 38'. TS went out of business last year and Jayco bought their assets but not the company. (Of course many others have failed too lately.) Is it wise to avoid these orphans? Anyone with experience with the reliability of this model/yr? I heard that since this was the first yr for TS there were a few issues with them but still a premium coach.

Thoughts? Thanks

David

I have a 2008 TS Envoy with 7600 miles and the few issues I have had are related to equipment that is manufactured by others not TS. to give you a few
ideas...inverter was bad replaced with a new one warranty by Magnum
have problems with rearview camera...built by Weldex and the A&E weatherpro awning is not working at this moment warranty. so basic problems that you can encounter with any MoHo. I researched MoHo's for about 6 months and liked what i seen from TS so I bought mine last August
very happy with it

I posted a response to your other post under general. Will just say here that we LOVE ours and have not regreted a single minute that we bought our "orphan". We have spent some money on it but not a lot and no where near as much as we saved by buying a new orphan with little warranty. Good luck, gene

We bought our "Orphan" 2004 Travel Supreme 5th wheel 36RLTSOA in May of this year. This is our second T.S. and we love it. I knew from my experience I wanted a Travel Supreme while I could still find one.
