Spartan is chassis maker, still in business and not owned by any RV manufacturer.

Monaco produced their own Roadmaster chassis.

You are correct there were some 09 TS built I own a 09 Envoy my state made me title mine as a 2008 even tho I showed them the 2009 window sticker, I have had no problems with windows cracking or popping. Travel Supreme last days of business were in March of 2008, most 09 models were built Nov 07 thru March 08 . I haven't found values 09 TS models

The last one built, all the 09s I think, had the x bracing installed as travel supreme was aware of the problem and fixed it. They even retrofitted many earlier coaches at the factory before their unfortunate demise. CONGRATULATIONS! You will love your new coach, it is. A great product. Just my opinion.

This is my guess, the coach was on of the last coaches made in early 2007, a 2008 model. Went unsold until 2009.. Suggestion get the Spartan VIN off the coach and get a hold of Spartan, they can tell you build date of the chassis.
Good luck, keep us posted.. TS is a great coach!!!

Do you have any advice for this problem? We have a 2007 Select with same problem. Windows pop out.

Yes, you need to get the X-bracing done on your coach. Check the archives for more info on this. Your best bet will be to head for the Elkhart IN area to get it done, either by Midwest Custom RV or Precision Paint in Bremen IN, which is nearby.

Which won't help at all as the completed vehicle manufacturer sets the model year it MUST be titled as. It's a Federal Law although some states seem to get away with ignoring it.
The RVIA site has the legal info on it. I was going to post the link but for some reason I can't get to the site right now. Anyway, I looked at it a few days ago so I know it's there once the site is up and responding.
Well it's up now, here's the link to the area.

TS did get ahead of itself by producing the next model year EARLY in the calendar year. For example, my 2007 Alante was built in Jan, 2006. So that 2009 WAS built early in 2008. I know for a fact there were a few such models built before they shut the doors.

The coach I purchased used in 2000 was titled as a 1998 in Indiana. That was based upon the manufacturer's date of completion. It was built on a 1999 model year chassis. When I titled it in Florida, they used the Chassis VIN to determine year. So, the 1998 coach I purchsed was retitled as a 1999.

The Window popping problem can be solved by proper windshield installation. Mine a 2006 TS DS 14 45 windshield popped when I first got it and when I had it reset the inataller with 30 years experience said his reinstall will not pop out. The windshield floats in the rubber seal on 3 sides. It is only secured on the edge. He said that a stronger sealant is needed to hold it. He said that the manufacturer and most installers do not use a strong enough sealant. His replacement has lasted for more than 2 1/2 years. Cross bracing is questionable, expensive and has not solved all window poping problems. Spartan builds a lot of chasis for many brands of Motorhomes and other vehicles without problems. Dave W

Not sure its all that simple. I've had several pieces of glass replaced-some came out and some cracked, before AND after the bracing was installed. I'm thinking if the sealant is too strong, the glass may crack rather than shift with twisting of the frame. If a poor sealant is used, the glas simply pops out. Entegra now uses an "arch" of square tubing around the one piece windshield which, along with the basement bracing, minimizes distortion around the area.
This seems to have solved the problem.

I have been told by reputable TS windshield installer at Precision Paint that the primary cause of windshield pop-outs after completing the frame bracing is the center verticle windshield bar becomes loose. It is only factory secured using a couple of screws placed into the wood backing inside the overhead compartment. This verticle dividing bar needs to be reinstalled and tightened securely.
