Thanks for the info on the Norcold recall I have the Norcold 1200 4 door ref it has the serial number range in question. I was never given notice from the manufacture. I called today and they told me to unplug it and get it to a service center. Lucky the Camping World near me had one of the parts I need to fix this tomorrow it will be updated to meet the recall. Camping World will also fix the driver's side slide out topper too.

We got tired of the Norcold 1200 LRIM recalls (3) and switched to a residential fridge, Samsung RF197, love it.

Funny, yesterday while I was searching for real-world power usage on my 1200LRIM fridge, I too stumbled across the recall for the high temp sensor. Looks like a trip to the shop is in store for us as well.

Walt - what were the other two recalls for?

the other two had to do with over heating as well. each was designed to fix the previous recall that did not solve the original overheating problem. Most of the fires are from the electric side.

I had Camping World replace the recalled part and now I can only run on LP my refer, the lights work and it gets cold works but the 120 option says error "no" I have to wait until we are done camping and bring it back in to them at Camping World another 2 hour roundtrip and there time to see what they did wrong.
