Travel supreme roof maintenance
I own a 2005 travel supreme MH. 38 ft...I assume I have a fiberglass roof. Does anyone know what maintenance should be done routinely on these roofs. I dont want to have any issues arise. Thank you..

Roof should be waxed yearly to keep oxidation from running down sides, etc.
I got tired waxing and used Dicor fiberglass roof treatment/coating (Rv dealer or Amazon). Very happy I did it, no more waxing and roof and sides stay cleaner. A bit of work on prepping, but makes a nice job when done.

On our CC's Fiberglass roof, in addition to yearly wash with Dawn detergent to cut in grease/crime/old wax, I'd then wax it, and follow with either Zion Z-CS and or Aerospace 303 the Z-CS and 303 have UV protection. Did this the first four years.
At about year four, I went ahead had the Buskote applied. It now only needs a yearly washing, and then forget about it. Eliminated white chalk roof runoff.
I did come very close to using one of the boat decent two part paints used on boat fiberglass decking. IMO, this would have done the same thing as Buskote, minus the bit of insulation that Buskote adds (Very minimal, but one of the reasons you see it on all of the school busses, is to help keep it cooler inside.). The boat decking two part paints, would have cost about 1/3 of what Buskote did. And IMO, would have provide many years of good low maintenance roof care. Maybe after 5-7 years, a good cleaning an another coat reapplied would have been in order. Check West Marine's online at look at their Boat Decking paints... To get some ideas on costs and options. Grit for non slip is another option to add into the Boat Decking. I doubt I would have done this, because I'd not plan to be on the roof when it is wet, and the grit would be a place for dust and dirt to cling to, and then later in a good rain run down the sides of the coach. But, if you're storing things on the roof, or in an area of lots of moisture where you might be on the roof more then I foresaw - it's another option.
Best to you,
Smitty

Yearly, clean and wash, and wax or some sort of sealant. This is mostly cosmetic and prevents the streaks and it just looks better when you are on roof.
The more important task is closely watching all the joints and penetrations. Caulk needs yearly maintenance, it does not last forever. Eternabond can be used on seams and it has a much longer life. Dicor caulk is one of the best for the caulked joints. You can clean and add more when cracks show up. Or remove old caulk entirely and re-caulk. I have done both depending on the condition of the old caulk.
A water leak will destroy an RV quickly and by the time you see it on the inside. It is too late.

Thank you all for your input. I suppose i should also reseal the outer perimeter transition area with a good silicon and vent areas as well?

Not silicone, best to use Dicor.

I clean mine a couple of times a year ..... but hadn't used a sealer on it ..... thx for that suggestion .... I hate the streaks ;...
as for minor seal issues .... I've been using that spray flex shot with great success. When we placed the micro oven I used the flex shot in the tube to seal the new bolt holes & upper washers // so far so good ... its been there two years (almost) with no cracking or lifting from the surface. Seems to works great !!!

I own a 2007 TS Alante' (45 ft) and received a tip from a TS owner several years ago on easy method to maintain the fiberglass roof using Mop & Glow.
I power wash and scrub the roof at least once per year, when dry apply a good coat of Mop & Glow using the applicator you would use for a floor at home. This product keeps the roof from oxidizing and I do not have white streaks from oxidation. This year I had let it go a little too long so I used a grey scotch bright pad wrapped around the applicator to scrub the fiberglass then power washed and applied Mop & Glow, looks great. "Best done when it is cool to get the best results"

Re: mop and glo
FYI: did the mop and glo treatment and it has worked perfectly. Pressure cleaned the roof prior to Rx. That was maybe 2 months ago and it still looks great. Thank you all for your advice.
