Turn/Dimmer switch replacement
Turn/Dimmer switch replacement; dimmer stuck open no lights, high or low beam. Removed switch found loose connection, melted the plastic holding the flat part of the switch, not making contact. New one on the way form Spartan. Problem; it appears the switch comes without a lever, re-use the old lever, which, appears to be attach via a drift/shear pin, which will have to be drilled out. Anyone replaced this? If so; help, all the info 2007 42 Envoy TS

Many headlight switches have a "push button" or a "hole into which a paper clip can be inserted" which releases the push/pull shaft allowing it to be removed.
If your doesn't methinks you will have to order a new shaft from Spartan.

Switch installed, Dave Matthews at Spartan, The turn signal switch for VIN# 58598 is part# 0978-KK1-86001. The cost is $164.33, and we have them in stock. Loose connection on the switch body, not good. Now all works as OEM.

Need to replace the turn signal switch. any clues as to how to remove the steering column shield or cover to access the switch and any specifics on replacing the switch I should watch for?
