Vacuum Install in 40DS04

Thinking of installing a Dirt Devil RV vacuum in our coach. Getting tired of hauling a regular vac around. Have seen where the hose attachment was under the draw under the refer. Don't think there is any thing in the floor in that area but wanted to know if anyone had a vacuum there and about where on the floor did I need to drill the hole for the hose. Also not sure of how thick the floor is.

Appreciate your thoughts/suggestions.

I have seen some in the step well and the hose runs into the adjacent outside cabinet. There is a couple of installs on you tube. My connection is in the hall on the side of the cabinet, Hose is under the cabinet and then into the basement cabinet.

On mine (05 Envoy 38DS04) the connection is next to the toilet room door just below the furnace intake. The pipe drops into the basement compartment where the furnace and water heater are located and then is routed forward into the next storage compartment to the canister. Easy access for cleaning the bag and keeps most of the noise in the basement.

My vac hose goes through the floor under the refer. If I remember correctly, TS laid 2x3's flat over the 1-1/2 in square tubing, so I would say there's about a 3 in. space inbetween floor decking and the basement ceiling. I think you could examine the plywood of each surface for nails and carefully drill a pilot hole to see that's inside that cavity, if anything.
