MDJ, I'd recommend you try Motorhome Specialist in Alvarado (south side of Ft. Worth) Texas. I've consigned and sold two coaches with them and was very satisfied. Main reason: They have always made a very strong market in Travel Supremes and are now doing the same with Entegra. People who know the TS line always check with them when looking for a TS, so I'd think your chances are good they'll find a buyer for your rig.

Mark, beginning in about 2001 there were, from top to bottom, the Select and Travel Supreme models. Then the Envoy was added at the low end. In model year 2007 the top dog was the Select Limited, followed by the Select, Alante, Insignia and Envoy.

Hello to the TS forum! We just bought a '04 38DS04 in Bakersfield. We are on our way home to Fort Worth. I have been lurking around here and on the IRV2 forum trying to get an education. We have been Pace Arrow owners in the past and I must say ya'all are much more knowledgable and helpful! This is our first experience with a diesel so I have a lot to learn. I am sure you will get tired of my silly questions, but please be advised I plan to eventually become an asset rather than a liability to the forum.

03 TS Select (?) 40DS01
Hello TS owners! We are nearing a deal on the rig above. I have run through this thread and the discussions of TS models and this one doesn't seem to match up as a Select model, being only 40' and a 400 hp coach. Does the Select indicate more of a customized coach from TS?
This one has 67K miles on it which I think just means any and all mechanical stuff has been resolved and is ready for another 100K! (and it hasn't just been sitting somewhere)
Any suggestions on hidden dangers to look for would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Tom, that was what TS has always called their top of the line model, however, it doesn't come close to the Selects they made just prior to the shut down. And the 40 ft. model was common back in those years. So it is what it is. But they have made a lot of advances since then.

Thanks Slabman. That makes sense. We were after the chassis and build features of the TS coaches in that era and felt comfortable going back a couple more years to get in the price range for a TS. Looking forward to several years of good service out of it.

Looks like most of the posts here are for the TS MH's.......as a fiver driver, wondered if I should post here, or look at the 5th wheel columns as a more timely section. Either way, ya'll will be hearing more from me!
DW and I are getting back into RV'ing after an 18 year hiatus, going full time soon as the house sells, so I'm sure we'll be begging for info regularly.

Does this forum cover Entegra or does Entegra fall under Jayco?

Welcome back to RVing. You are right that most of the posts here are MOHO related, but I do occasionally see 5er questions. Must be that TS 5ers's never have any problems .
In any case, since of the some systems/components are similar why not start here?
