Bdr,
I know someone will reply to you with the name of the company... But I think the place you will want to call is in Indiana. Travel Supreme had some issues with the windshield popping out and cracking. I believe the guys that were the experts left and started their own business. I would recommend with the size of your purchase to take it to the best. I can weld, and I could weld x bracing into a chassis, but I'm sure they know exactly where tonput them for best support. hopefully one ofthe TS guys respond with the company name. $600 in diesel is cheap to have it done correctly. Good luck!

Precision Painting in New Breman Indian is one place you can take it. They currently do all the painting for Entegra Coaches.
You can also try Midwest Custom RV. Bishop Chrsitensen is the person you want to talk to. He was one of the service leaders at Travel Supreme.
I you search on Windshield issues in this forum you wil find the number for Bishop. You can find Precision Painting on the web

My question is does the X-bracing by itself solve the problem? On the Midwest Custom RV website they discuss a much larger fix that involves removing the the front cap and putting in some additional framing, in addition to the x-bracing. Has anyone had the X-bracing done and the still had an issue with the windshield?
Thanks for any info

There HAVE been times when the X bracing did not solve the problem and the more extensive fix was developed and Entegra uses it as standard on all coaches now. However, I think Bishop will tell you that the basic X bracing will solve the problem for over 90% of the coaches on the road and is the logical first step. IT IS a gamble but the odds are vastly in favor of the cheaper bracing solving the problem. All just my experience and opinion.

Cantor, I had the TS factory bracing done before they closed and thought all was well, until...... I turned a corner with differing grade transitions and developed a vertical crack in the lower L side corner of the driver's windshield. Unfortunately, that was the one Bishop had replaced a year earlier :-(. So now I don't think all flexing has been removed...not sure what to do....trade?

Don't know, but Bishop's guaranteed full fix might be a better option. On a trade you KNOW you will be out way more than $11K, no matter how you slice it. I've thought about the same thing - my problem is my coach is in Mesa, which is 1831 miles from Elkhart. All expenses considered it is still way cheaper than trading in on an Entegra which would be $150K minimum out of pocket.

How come Spartan doesn't do the X-bracing at its service centers since it is a problem with the K-2 chassis? Just wondering.

It is on the K2 chassis which would be 43-45 ft coaches.

Dfw, unfortunately Bishop is no longer in business. Precision Painting in Bremon is considered the x bracing experts right now.

It can be a problem on the Mountain Master Chassis also.
