1,900 mile detour

We had an appointment on May 19 for our PDI. Then we got a call enroute to South Haven, MI that our son was nailed by a hit-and-run driver on his bike commute to work. He has fractures of C1 (Christopher Reeve) and C7 vertebrae. We left SH at 2:00 Thursday to head to Boise. We are in Lyman, WY tonight and will be in Boise tomorrow. 1,500 miles in an RV in 2 1/2 days is a lot of miles! 430 to go. We will be with him tomorrow afternoon. The surgery decision has not been made yet. We are asking for prayers from everyone.

Thanks!

Prayers your way for sure, such senseless and irresponsible actions that innocent victims have no control over. We are hoping for good news, keep us posted.

Karen and I received the word from Joyce yesterday when I asked about your arrival as we were going to be here to hopefully meet you. Our prayers are with you and your Son Vance, may God be his co-pilot.

Safe travels to you and Robin
