'17 Anthem Closet Light Poltergeist
Our closet light comes on all by itself. Right after we go the coach, EC techs ran a new electrical line to our macerator toilet, because the closet light came on every time we flushed.
The new line didn't fix the problem, but we had to leave.
17,000 miles later, it seems to have developed schizophrenia...or has been taken over by a malicious poltergeist.
Has anyone found a cure that actually works without just ripping it out of the ceiling?

Do you have the motion sensor closet light switch? When I saw you at Entegra I asked about getting one of those switched for the closet LED's I installed. They told me to hold off, they were having problem with those switches. You may have one of the bad switches.

We are on our 3rd motion sensing light. The sensor and light is integrated in one unit.
If we have issues with the latest unit, I will be installing some sort of magnetic switch or mechanical switch.

I bought a new motion sensor and used my own light from eBay. Cheap and cured the problem. Not sure how much they are paying for their sensor, but the eBay one was $6 and looks to be way better quality.

John, do you have a link for the one you purchased? I used a toggle switch and would like to change it with a motion sensor that works.

We had the gremlin also. NIRVC replaced the sensor an it solved the problem for a while but the gremlin eventually came out of hiding. Entegra and NIRVC both said the issue is bad sensors. Maybe they come from the same source as the old shade motors

I went back and looked Chuck, and it was from Amazon, not eBay.
This is the one:

Ours will sometimes turn on when we get close to the closet. I just figured the sensor is picking up a signal. It will also turn on if we reboot the 12Volt for a short period.
