As of this Post, the only numbers you should call:

@ that video around 2:35 mins
Primary 855-894-9945 <--- Start Here, several attempts if necessary
Secondary 866-662-4548

.
Sorry, only going by what worked last time. I was connected and in 5 minutes I was finished. Seems like others are getting the run around. Whatever works. I have been enjoying the Mobley for 2 years by following the instructions that were emailed to me from Onstar which is where the Mobley was started with AT&T. I was the person that made the post 2 years ago, Voltdoc was the person that added that the Mobley was being used for the same program as offered to Onstar. Onstar announced $20. a month unlimited data
I had a little experience I tried to share, but I guess that is old news now.

My son followed the instructions that were in the video. He said it took total of 10 minutes.

As I read through the stories about how hard it is to work with AT&T it makes me laugh - because it's all true.

I just went through the same thing ordering my Mobley. I started with the phone number provided in the video, the Rep then transferred me to Connected Car. Fortunately that Rep understood what I was talking about and transferred me to someone else to place my order.

Here's were screwed up - I didn't write down the Reps name. So I spend 45 minutes on the phone ordering this device. I wanted to do the payment plan (rather than buy the Mobley outright or do a 2 year commitment) so the Rep says I need to pay the tax ($10 and change) upfront. I start reading off my CC number and the line goes dead.

Now AT&T has my cell phone number and account info (I gave that to the Rep to pull up my account at the start of the order, and I've been with them for over 10 years), but no one calls back. So I call back to the same number and explain the order was in process and I got disconnected but no one knows who I was working with. there is no info in their computer so I have to start the order process over. At least the second time the line stay connected and I was able to complete the order.

The Mobley arrived a few days later but I could not activate it (first the website address in the Mobley instructions is wrong) so I call the number in the instruction sheet. That is an automated system. I tell the system the phone number of the Mobley and it tells me I am activated. But the device will not connect to internet. So I cal back for troubleshooting help. Turns out the SIM card number in the AT&T "system" is different from the SIM card number on the actual card. So I get this straightened out and finally I'm connected. Another hour.

BTW, once you are connected, go to your AT&T wireless account and open the settings for the Mobley and turn OFF "stream saver". Stream saver reduces the quality of the video stream to 480p. Since this is an unlimited data plan there is no reason to reduce quality to reduce data used.

We have a Cradlepoint IBR900 so hoping I can swap the SIM card over. Already have the Verizon SIM in one slot so AT&T would occupy the second one.

I know Directv support was pretty good prior to being integrated into the AT&T support group. We had a horrible time activating a new receiver in the MH. That took 5 calls and about 3 wasted hours. Finally got the one smart person in the group and the job was done in 10 minutes.

Yes it will work. You have to load the network settings on the CP when you want to swap over to att. They donít work congruently, unfortunately. That would be a nice feature to have both and have it automatically select the strongest network.

I have the same setup.

Last night tried to order the Mobley. Thought I was doing well first agent knew exactly what I wanted. But, when she asked for our address their system wouldn’t accept the address. Then she put me on hold, after 10 minutes I hung up and called back in. The second agent also knew what I wanted and started the process again. When it came time for the address their system didn’t recognize our address PMB number.
We are full timers and use St. Brendan’s Isle (Green Cove Springs FL) as a mail forwarding company. We tired several work arounds but none worked. Did any other full timers using St Brendan’s Isle have the same issue when ordering the Mobley?

Mobley ordered

-855-894-9945
-Curtis answered
-sounded like he understood but I had to repeatedly say:
-Unlimited Connected Car Data Plan for the Mobley $20 per month
-finally he locked it in, made me pay $7 per month for the unit said I had to go to a store to prepay
-shipped to Escapees email drop

I have Verizon unlimited data prepaid ($70) plan and Cricket unlimited ($70). I will drop the Cricket down to limited data/unlimited phone as soon as I get the Mobley.

Running the sims through a MOFI router. Verizon is ok but network managed around 1600 hours. Need both ATT/Verizon as I work out of the RV.

I HATE calling cell providers, over and over they give out bad information. I know exactly what I want, they give me back #@$#$

Mobley vs. Hotspot

Just double checking... if my iPhone can "hotspot" then do I really don't need this device?

I have AT&T with an unlimited data plan.

Again, thank you for all the previous postings about this item and going about getting one. It just seems to me that my Mobley device is already built into my iPhone.

Let me know if I'm overlooking something here.

You don't need the Mobley. It is doing the same thing as your iPhone hotspot.

The lure of the Mobley is the $20/month unlimited data plan.

My Mobley is connected through USB to my router, which then provides my coach WiFi, 24/7, with 8 to 10 connected devices; no turning hotspots on and off. The phone is probably fine if youíre an infrequent user and donít stream.

I have a Verizon phone that I can Hotspot but it is way easier to use the Mobley. When I get a phone call some time my phone wants to disconnect the Hotspot, some times it stays working. I use my phone as a backup. I get 15GB before they start to slow down on the phone.

I do know that those on the Verizon plan can't do data and voice at the same time; however, with AT&T, that is not an issue.

Good to know. Never had an issue streaming video (i.e. Netflix or such) while still being on the phone for other uses (FaceBook, voice, texting).

I will save that $20/month and buy what I really want: Bulldog Powered A-Frame 3500 jack!

Thanks, everyone.... again, just doing my "due diligence."

I have the unlimited AT&T plan - they throttle your hotspot after 15GBs down to an absolutely unusable speed ( I hotspot to my laptop for work). They didn't used to - but started in the past 6 months or so. I now have the unlimited Verizon Jetpack for $70 mth - which is excellent - but I like $20 mth even better.

Just called, went through Katani, Anthony, Andrea, Gabrial, Reggie, Robert, then finally Dominique. Two disconnects (they immediately called back), one transfer to automated recording stating that all call centers were closed. Half the people had no idea what a Mobley was, tried to sell me a Harmon Spark, or more cell phones. Anthony stated he would waive activation fee, Reggie and Gabrial said no waiving of activation fees, Robert of the Loyalty Dept said yes of course, we can waive the fees (which varied from $30/line to $45/line depending on whom you spoke to, transferred to Dominique, who was fantastic, got everything squared away, just waiting for two Mobley's now. I'll update as well when I receive them. Now to order two AC adapters . . .
