For caulk to be effective it has to be applied to the correct area and the area cleaned so the new caulk adheres properly.

The most commonly reported roof leaks in the front of the coach were due to bad seals around the marker lights at the top of the front cap. I had to have all of my lights taken out and replace and resealed. Water tends to get behind the marker lights due to a bad seal and then run down into the cockpit... My water would come out through the holes for the cab radio speakers. May not be your problem but a very common problem on classics.

Last October I resealed my entire roof of our coach with eternabond. I found a crack in the plastic around the Skylight above the shower which would have become a real problem if I had not re sealed that area. Gary is correct about the front cap marker lights. You may also have a leak some where around the front cap. Eternal Bond tape might be a solution.
