Would drive prior to taking possession. If its only an alignment issue, that can be done before you hand over the money. Haven't had any alignment problems so far with the cornerstone.

We are newbies buying an Anthem.

Did you buy an extended warranty? Interstate StarRV? Your comments or advice would be appreciated.

This is an important topic with many opinions. Rather than burying it here in a thread about the manual, might I suggest you start a new topic entitled "extended warranties". Or do a search on the forum in general and you will find plenty of discussions about them.

The alignment and steering wheel in our Anthem was also off but when you consider that they are aligned at Spartan as a bare chassis, itís not surprising. I make an alignment part of every vehicle purchase.

As far as the Precision Paint jobs are concerned, I agree with Ann n Gene, the vast majority of Entegra owners are thrilled with the paint on their coaches.
As far as paint goes, our 2012 had a lot better finish than our 2013. I feel that the increased productivity in both production and painting has left QC at the side door.
