2013 Entegra Anthem Insurance
Sure didn't expect this to be my first! We are purchasing an Entegra and I'm at that place where I need to research the cost of insurance. Apparently, there is a world of difference between one policy and another, as well as differences in carriers. Can anyone guide me with respect to RV insurers including your past experiences with insurance? Can't thank you enough for your help. Yes....I'm a bit inexperienced here. Does it show?

I pay approx $3000 with Progressive in Florida through USAA with full replacement policy. Other states can be much less, but then their tags may be extremely high. What state will you be registered from?

Thank you both so much. I'll be insuring from Florida as well. I was given a quote through Progressive for $3700 with replacement. Do you get a 25% reduction each year that you have no claims?

I use Overland, who is an independent agency, in Scottsdale, AZ. (800-677-4027). They have been competitive for me.
Here's an evening's worth of reading for you!

I shopped everywhere, Gieco, FMCA, progressive and several others. I ended up with Erie. I pay ~2500 with full replacement coverage and a $1,000 deductible.

This might help. A list off all the major carries with quotes for an Anthem in FL. At least it is one stop list, call for current prices, this was 2014 quotes
http://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/curr...em-189038.html
What others are paying in non hurricane states are null and void when it comes to where the MH is stored in FL. it goes by zip code. The more inland the lower the rates. Also the zip code where the MH is stored, I pay a little less for indoor storage in another zip code other than my registered zip code which is on the coast in a hurricane zone.

Good Point, as our Insurance through AARP and Hartford is only $800 annually, as a result of living in Colorado.

This information has been informative and very very helpful. Can't thank you all enough for sharing your insight and experience! At least I have a spring board from which to begin!

Don't only shop companies, also shop agents. We had Progressive for our Aspire. After the first year they tried to raise my premium $400. I when to a different Progressive agent (I think Brown & Brown) and saved the $400. I think we pay around $2300 with full replacement for x number of years.
