2013 fridge issue

Did Entegra fix the issue with the fridge hitting the counter top on the rear bath models?

Our new Aspire now has a love bump on the refrigerator door....Other than placing a rubber pad over the bump, or grinding down the counter I don't know how this could be fixxed

Just another example of GREAT engineering design by highly educated book smart people who forgot about simple common sense.

Heck, when common sense was handed out, I bet they thought it was something about being too dense, and of course that had nothing to do with them, DUH!!!

These kinds of things will happen in all coaches except for the very custom ones where if EVERYTHING is not perfect then they don't get paid.

Just my opinion.

We have a 2013 RBQ and the only time our fridge door hit the counter is twice when were driving. It didn't get locked, flew open and slammed into the counter. Since this was my responsibility, I am now officially to blame for the first dent! During everyday use while camping, it does not hit the counter.

2013 Aspire 42DEQ.....Refer Issue

We can't take the Ice container out of the freezer either to empty it, clean it, or to dry it out prior to storing the coach.
Has anyone else run into this issue?

If you have the GE residential two door, DW says go into the manual in your Black Case of manuals. There is a section (P. 12-13 on the ice maker) that describes a process to pull out the ice container. DW followed that and it came right out.

Hope that helps.

On my Aspire DEQ I can hold the left door open more than normal and just barely pull out the icemaker unit. I have to be careful when taking it in or out to not tear the rubbery gasket. Perhaps your fridge is installed a shade left of normal. I think that would prevent being able to remove the icemaker.

Fix it yourself. Locate some dry ice and get to work. Do an internet search on the repair. Very easy to do

We have the same bump, and will correct the cosmetic blemish next week

Positioning of refer prevents opening freezer door wide enough to remove it.

As Corey has ID'd the same problem, and the specs are the same for Anthems and Aspires in this area...and I have had mine out, I can only assume that your refrigerator may be slightly (and I mean maybe less than 1/8 ") left of mine. I know we can get ours out, but it is tight with the door.

Can you move your refrigerator to the right at all? Ours is absolutely up against the right woodwork. It would be tough to slide a piece of paper in the gap.

We have the Maytag 3 door refer. The ice container will come out, but with difficultly.
