2015 Anthem Wipers Inoperative

Folks - did a pre trip checkout of our 2015 Anthem 44B and the wipers are inoperative as is the windshield washer. Might be a fuse but I have not been able to find the fuse block location for the front of the chassis. Spartan Manual no help. Anybody know where that is or what might be the problem to check out if not the fuse after I locate and check it out and fuse happens to be good? Appreciate the help. Randy

In our '14, a fuse block is located is the first compartment bay on the drivers side. Try there.

It is not a Spartan item. Wipers are supplied and installed by Entegra. Your first move in the morning should be to phone Entegra.

Aren't the fuses in the front drivers' side compartment the Entegra items?

Yes, that is a compartment I read the labels before a long trip to refresh my memory of what is where.

On our 17 Aspire the fuse is in that compartment. You have to unscrew the two bolts holding the cover on and the diagram is on the back of it. When our wipers didn't work it was because Spartan service had unplugged them to be able to work on the air manifold on the firewall. Check that wiring above the gen-set a little toward the driver's side high on the firewall.

I looked for the fuse on the Classic today and I didn't see it in the outside front fuse compartment or the bathroom fuse cabinet. Now I am curious.

The wipers and washer are controlled be the SCM (Spartan Control Module) through the SmartWheel. Not sure where or if there is a separate fuse. Being that both the wiper and washer are not operating, my guess is there's an issue with either the SmartWheel controls or the SCM.

There is a third fuse box in the compartment below the driver. It has a cover on it that has 2 screws holding the cover. There are several 12v fuses inside and they are part of the Spartan system. Since the wipers are controlled on the smart wheel, Spartan has installed the fuses in that third box.

Yes...tinkered with all the boxes and pushed all fuses back in and it works. Must have been loose so will watch it closely for awhile. Thanks to all for the help!

Where did you finally find the fuse box and fuse?

Right where you kind folks said....driver side front compartment. Unscrewed the covef and has legend on the back. Was very dusty in there so cleaned it out (gently, no water) and pushed in all relays and fuses. Interestingly, the legend on right says wipers are controlled by Relay 5, but the schematic does nit show a Relay 5. Got lucky....this time, but not holding breath this fixed it. Hate electrical problems.
