Johnny, Measure from the ground to the center of hitch pins on the jeep. Then measure to the center of the hitch receiver of the MH (21 inches IRC). Manufactures say 3 inches, but I don't like more than 2 inches difference. After having one tow bar break, I am over cautious now.
If you need a drop down, buy a top bard, Blue Ox, Roadmaster etc. I bought an off brand at a local hitch shop..... the pin hole wore out and I junked it.
According to Blue Ox your pin height is 17 inch with stock tires. That would be a 4 inch drop down receiver. http://www.blueox.com/recreational-c...model=wrangler

I tow a 2012 Rubicon Unlimited with a 2.5 inch lift kit and 35 inch tires. I removed the stock bumper and added an aftermarket LOD bumper with welded tabs for my Roadmaster towbar which takes seconds to hookup.
All those changes combined I use a standard 4 inch receiver drop turned upside down and it makes my towbar perfectly level.

I did kind of the same thing, bought a new truck that was 21 inches at the tow pins......perfect level.

Forget about buying a drop hitch. Get the jeep lifted and get bigger tires!!

I tow a 2016 Sahara, which has exactly the same ground clearance as the Rubicon. I replaced the bumper with a Rock Hard bumper, with hitch points for the Blue Ox tow bar. The height matches exactly, with no lift or drop.

I have a 2014 Wrangler with Blue Ox and Airforce 1 setup. I did not need a drop hitch setup. We are in the middle of first trip pulling the Jeep (we also have a 2012 Chevy 1/2 P/U also setup for pulling behind the Anthem) and no problems. I think the difference between the coach and Jeep connection points was only like 2 1/2 inches.

4" lift 35" tires is level with roadmaster base plates and tow bar. Also Hopkins makes a plug and play wiring harness(no splicing is a good thing)

Using the Hopkins kit on both the Jeep & Chevy. Installs quickly and works like a champ. Much easier (and cheaper) than installing a 2nd set of lights or hacking up the factory wiring.
