2018 Aspire 44B isle space

In our 2013 Anthem DLQ, you had to be really skinny to squeeze into the bedroom when the rear slides were in. Is it the same way with the 2018 Aspire 44B?

I would appreciate it if someone could post two pictures for me:

1) from front of coach looking back through the living room area with all slides retracted

2) from mid-coach 1/2 bath looking back towards the bedroom with all slides retracted

I would wish that factories would post pictures of 'closed' travel-ready floorplans in their brochures, since this, after all, a Vehicle... but that would probably shed negative light on many... so probably not.
Also, I never see any information or photos of the ROOF, the layout, space, where Sat and Solar preps are, etc.... someone who will add this important information as part of their website videos will do us all a service, ESPECIALLY for those upper line coaches that do not come with roof ladders!

Hey Tom, great to see you on here!!

Amy & I recently sold our 2010 Allegro Bus and replaced it with a 2018 45B Cornerstone. The B plan is pretty much the same in all Entegra product lines (Insignia, Aspire, Anthem and Cornerstone).

I’ll shoot some photos for you later today, but I’m familiar with what you described about the DLQ floor plan and can tell you the same issue does not exist with the B plan.

In a B floor plan, there is no room to scoot past the bed. In order to reach the rear bath, you'll need to crawl over the bed

Correct, but that isn't what Tom was talking about. In the Anthem 44DLQ plan (and similar Cornerstone 45J plan, now discontinued), when the slides are in the space you have to squeeze through to get into the bedroom (so you can crawl over the bed) is VERY narrow. I'm 6 feet tall, 170 to 175 pounds, and I could barely fit through there. With the B plan, that isn't an issue.

Here's an annotated image that shows the area that gets very narrow with the slides in.

Tom, here are the photos you requested.

The first and second photos were taken with all slides retracted except for the passenger-side kitchen slide. I did that so you could see an unobstructed view of the opening into the bedroom.

The third and fourth photos are the same as the first and second but with all slides retracted. In this case you have to make your way around the aft end of the kitchen counter top as you walk toward the bedroom, but there is plenty of room to do that. Also, the half bath door can be opened without hitting the counter top. (Doesn't clear by much, but it does clear.)

Any other questions or requests, feel free to ask.

Hi Larry,

Thank you so much for the pictures. Definitely more room into the bedroom than in the DLQ. ...and down the center in the living room.

Exciting to see that you’ve joined the Entegra family. Congratulations! We sold our Anthem 3 years ago when we moved to WA. But have the bug again. The Aspire 44B appears to be our choice. Right price point and also quite honestly, more luxurious than our 2013 Anthem. Hopefully, sometime this year we will be able to make the move.

Did you buy from NIRV? Beaver Coach is closest to us and we know the GM.

Give our best to Amy and a pet to Lexi. If you make it up to the northwest, give us a hollar. Would be fun to get caught up.

Ah, yes. I misunderstood the question.
My W is tight as well.

That’s great news Tom – glad to hear it!

As you probably know, the B is Entegra’s best selling floor plan by a considerable margin. It’s not perfect, but I’m pretty sure the perfect motorhome floor plan has yet to be designed.

Yes, we did buy from NIRVC. I’ve purchased plenty of vehicles over the years and generally had no dealer preference whatsoever. Pretty much, “Here’s the check, give me the keys, probably won’t see you later.” Brett, Angie, Cowboy and the rest of the crew at NIRVC changed my attitude, and I’m happy to recommend them to anyone who will listen.

That said, I’ve heard lots of good reports about Beaver Coach Sales, and the fact they’re in your neighborhood is certainly worth considering as you work your way through the decision process.

Good luck and keep us posted on your progress. I look forward to seeing your soon out on the big wide road of RV adventure!

W isn't nearly as tight as the DLQ was.

The 44A Anthem is definitely tighter than the 42DLQ Aspire. Both the bedroom entrance and the bath door are tight.
