Your placard is the same as mine and shows that for a maximally loaded coach, the recommended pressure n the drives is 85#. However, if you set the Valor "baselines" for the 85#, then your high pressure alarms at 20# will go off 102# and my experience is that it is likely that the drives will heat to that point on a hot day and long driving, so when I talked to Don Rigby, he suggested baseline pressure that were higher than the actual "cold" pressures to account for this increase. The lower 12.5% alarm limit should be OK at 79#, and while that is fairly close to the actual inflation pressure (85#), should be maintained even in cool temperatures with the tires inflated to 85# "cold".

As I say, maybe I am wrong, but that is the logic.

If that is the case, why is 98 psi on your weight so much higher than the factory loaded weight? All very confusing to me. I will weigh and inflate my tires as I have for years. If the Valor doesn't show proper light colors...fix it. I'm not chasing it and re calibrating at every temperature change.

I think I have figured it out. I dont have 98# in the pdf of what I am now going to do. I am reducing the drive tire pressures to 85# and setting the baseline for the Valor to 90#. The only place that I think I show 98# is that is the pressure that I used a couple of weeks ago, but I think it is more pressure than I need to run safely on the drive tires and I believe that it is leading to some greater tendency to porpoise than my Anthem did. I intend to drop from 98# to 85# in the drives and drop my tags to 90# also to see if that will help the porpoising.

Sorry. My new figures are contained in the pdf attachment that I reference in the above post. That is what I am going to try next when I either buy my own programmer or borrow another one from Don.
