Anyone know where to find a troubleshooting chart for a/c? Or know how to troubleshoot one? My #3 has quit. Fan will come on but no cold air.

Since you say the fan is running, that indicates 120v power is present at the A/C. I'd go on the roof and check the start capacitor. (DANGER, they retain thousands of volts of electricity and can give you a serious wake-up if you don't know what you're doing) Capacitors are built with flat lids, any sign of bulging indicates its bad.
Since you say the fan is running, that indicates 120v power is present on the roof. I think the thermostat is connected and working, but be sure there's no special setting to get that A/C to operate.

Is it a heat pump and is it blowing heated air? Mine actually blew cold air on the roof on a 90 degree day when the heat pump got stuck in heat. If so, this is an easy 2- beer fix.

Here is a great post by Rollin101 that will tell you which fan is running, there are two fans. http://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/loud...ml#post4257143 Easy test done with the thermostat. Next try to cycle the circuit breaker, turn off while pushing down then back on, might reset compressor. Next on the ground test, pull the cover off of the thermostat and remove the fuse for 10 minutes, or try the 12v switch first, but clearing the thermostat I have been told works better.

Up on the roof, remove the cover, feel and look for any wet fluid, if found, open a beer and start looking for a replacement unit. If none found the start and run capacitors mentioned above, IIRC are in a black case next to the fan. If the don't look bad, they can be popped off and checked with a volt meter on continuity. There is a post on how to test those. Those are the easy and most common test.

I found a complete checking wires and plugs on a web site that might have been Coleman's

Thanks to all for the input on this. The unit tripped the breaker several times just after our purchase of the MH. Of coarse "Could not duplicate the problem" was the quote by the techs at 2 different service facilities. Now it's out of warranty. Also since the compressor isn't coming on, I doubt it to be a "blowing hot air" issue. It could possibly be the capacitor. Will check that when get back to MH later in the week.

If the circuit breaker tripped several times, that is usually a compressor over heating, or locking up.

Thank you sir for this info. While the unit has tripped the breaker recently and would always restart, now the blower fan will come on, but not the compressor nor the external fan. Have replaced both capacitors with no luck. Wondering where to go from here. Since it is 'no longer' tripping the breaker, thinking maybe a switch or sensor that triggers the compressor maybe the issue.

Suggestion. Remove the thermostat cover. Inside will be a glass fuse. To reset the thermostat I was told by Entegra to remove it for 20 minutes. You can try the 12v power switch first, that will sometimes work to reset the thermostat.
Or the compressor has possibly finally locked up.

Thanks for the suggestion. Will try it, but since the other units are working ok.Not thinking this would be the issue. Probably gonna be the compressor.

Believe it or not, the thermostat glitch on the Classics has happened before. That's how I learned about it. Hopefully that is the problem. If I can find the post a previous forum member, Danny had a similar problem and it was an easy fix.

Thanks, Had a thermostat issue when the unit was purchased. The thermostat would lock up and nothing would work. Always had to pull the fuse in the panel above the toilet. It would reset and work for a short while. Finally got the thermostat and some control boxes replaced and has worked flawlessly since. Until now.
But I did as you suggested, could not locate a fuse inside the thermostat. Unplugged it for a few minutes and will attempt to start #3 after I reassemble it. Will update later.

For troubleshooting purposes if the external fan isn't running you're not getting power to the fan and compressor. You'll need a volt ohm meter to check and see why no power. Based on you saying the external fan isn't running I doubt it's a bad unit, but it's hard to t/s from the sofa.

That's a good point. Being I am not familiar with how these things work or wired, I didn't know that. There is 120 volt power coming into the box that houses the capacitors. But no power to the capacitors.
Will take another look at it tomorrow.
