A vs B Floor Plan - Pluses & Minuses of Each?
Forgetting about the desk option which is only in A...what are the plusses and minuses of the A and B floor plans? The comfy chair by the fireplace in A, the L sofa in B, kitchens switched, washer/dryer relocated.
What works better in day-to-day life?

To start the desk isn't an option any longer, it's standard.
In my opinion the desk and full closet makes the A floor plan. Pretty much everything else is subjective or maybe I should say what your wife likes. Noel

Noel, is the fireplace with the comfy chair still available? Or do you mean the selection of either the fireplace or desk is a no charge choice?

We don't know anything about the A plan without the desk. The desk plan does come with a comfy chair and a fireplace. The A plan without the desk is available. Noel

This is what I thought the fireplace and chair option is

We like the B. The A plan has very narrow openings down the center aisle with slides in, the half bath door will only partly open and the bedroom opening is narrow. We like our washer dryer placement better and we love the double sinks in the full bath. We like our big pantry. We do like the recliner with the A and the desk is nice but not a deal breaker either way for us. We also love the bigger half bath in the B, it has a lot more room in it than the A. This is all subjective and is JMHO.

I am glad to see someone point out the reality of moving about with the slides in. As full-timers that move frequently, that was important for us. Thanks Anne N Gene for bringing that up. Another related point is how easy is it to fix lunch at a rest stop in the middle of the day with the slides in. Can you open the fridge and drawers to make a sandwich? Sit in that coach at the dealership with the slides in and think about such things.

Like I said in the beginning it's all subjective. We have the A and like most things about it. If you want to hold a dance going down the road the aisle would be a little narrow, but since we don't there's not an area you can't reach with the slides in. My wife likes the placement of the washer and dryer in the A since it's not over the stool, and she really likes the full rear closet.
Really I think the ideal floor plan would be the 45J-44dlq with the desk the A has and the televator tv, except some people wouldn't like it because you can't get in the bedroom with the slides in. Noel

A vs B Floor Plan - Pluses & Minuses of Each?
We are also researching an Entegra Anthem. We were sold on the 44B until we saw the 44A. Thank you Mark! Some of the "A" features we liked over the "B" model are as follows starting at the front.
- desk which is now standard.
- the large window on the desk wall (60" width)
- the televator
- standard straight sofa vs "L" Shape
- the galley across from dinette
- full closet in master bath.
- location of washer/dryer not having to reach over toilet.
One thing we really liked on the "B" model was the look of the full wall slide, but not a full wall slide. As Chuck Lasley mentioned at the Pomona RV Show it is a full wall slide with integrity. We also liked the size of the pantry.
You may want to get on Entegra website. They have updated their model brochures and information.
BTW...Entegra now has a bunk house floor plan in the Aspire called the 44R in case anyone missed the announcement in early November. So my suggestion is to like Entegra Coach on Facebook to keep up with changes and visit website often.
But, that is what we like. Everyone is different in their needs and wants.

Fireplace in the desk
It's so hard to tell from pictures, and there are only a few of those to view.
How does the fireplace look being built right in to the desk? Does it look contrived or does it look nice in the overall scheme?
Entegra put the fireplace in the hole that one would normally sit at.

I have put several pictures of our 45A, with the newly designed desk, in a few different threads on here. Go back and look at your own post on 10-31, you will see the pictures I put on there for you then. Noel

We believe we have the original 44A and are still taking delivery at Lazydays. We like the angled fireplace, small window and recliner but admit it is tight in it's " space " but our plan is to pull it out when parked and put our dog's crate in that area and she likes that idea near the fireplace .
As mentioned the full wall rear closet, vertically challenged wife not having to reach over the toilet for the washer/dryer AND the table on our patio side instead of the neighbors were all factors for us in choosing the A .

I have a late 2015 45b I looked at a 2015 45aI like the b better(we are not full time) but both are nice. I like two sinks in the master bath. I looked at a fortravel relm floor plan (closet where our sinks are sinks where our closet is) I think is an ideal floor plan but several humdred kmore than the cornerstone.

As full timers we originally ordered the B but then switched to the A for all of the reasons previously listed: MB appears slightly larger, full width closet, W/D placement not over the toilet, PS dinette, desk, fireplace w/televator. The pantry appears to be about the same size, only deeper and narrower. The 1/2 bath is a bit smaller, but not an issue for us. We read several reviews on the "L" shaped couch that it was not comfortable. Either is a great floor plan though.
