Advice for first cold weather trip

Heading to Las Vegas next weekend and it will be a high of 30 degrees in Ely Nevada, our first overnight stop. New to the Agua Hot system so any cold weather advice would be welcome.

Turn on the basement thermostat. Not much to worry about with 30 degree temps and the basement heat on.

Fill the fresh water tank and disconnect the hose.

A good vintage Merlot or Malbec would be my advice, but Chuck's is probably more reliable.

Like this advice. Probably will need both Merlot AND Malbec.

Regardless of whether you are on shore power or not, you need to turn on the diesel burner of the AquaHot. My experience is that the AC element of the AquaHot will be overwhelmed by coach and basement heat needs if the diesel burner is not on. Also, put zones 1 and 2 on gas heat. Just me experience.

Plus a snifter of Drambuie

Hi Bill and Valerie, Bev and I haven't winterized our 14 Aspire 44B since we bought it March 2014. We keep basement heater on and during the night we acutually just use our Fireplace. With outside at 28 degrees last year in Pigeon Forge our AH had an issue, CS said to just run the FP and we did and we woke up it was Nice 65 degrees. That showed us just how well the insulation is on these Entegras. We only use AH for those long, long showers. Enjoy your coach, life is too short not to.
