Air Compressor?

Did a search but didn't find any reference to or whether or not the Entegra Anthem has a air compressor on board. Didn't see it on Entegra's web either. I would hope there is one aboard to, if nothing else, keep tires inflated correctly. Did I miss it?

I believe it is listed under Standard Chassis Equipment as "Remote Air Fill with Air Hose".

All airbrake equipped vehicles have an air co
Pressor on board an Entegra does provide an air chuck connection in the front right bay that you can attach an air hose for your use. However, it is difficult to get enough volume at high pressure to top off steer tires, it is very slow above 100 psi

Fast idle seems to help (or it just sounds like it does)

Mine also has a chuck in the engine compartment.

I carry a small 3 gallon compressor with me at all times. It can get my steering tires above 100 psi with a bit of patience (2-3 minutes or so).

It's tough to get those last few pounds in because you need a greater pressure in the tank than in the tire and it gets pretty close near the end. You can always add an air tansformer to make that easier. Some day I'm going to get one of these - Bob Dickman Tire Center - Air Pressure Maintenance Aids

RVs, boats, and Jeeps. That's what keeps America's economy moving and prevents all that money from being tied up in savings accounts.

Or couple of thousand in the case of your "traveller" dish thread.

We use a small porter cable pancake compressor in the front bay. Love to use the air for all sorts of things and you don't have to start the engine to get air. Something like this:

Porter Cable Product Details for 150 psi, 6 gal Oil-Free Pancake Compressor - Model # C2002

We also carry and use the same compressor as Matt. It's very handy for both RV and home use.

The engine compressors typically can't get those tires up to 115-120, so I used to have a 6-gal, 150psi compressor for the job. But it took up a big footprint, while weighing 75 lbs. So now I carry a small tire inflator made by Slime (Model X2) which is rated to 150#. Got it on Amazon for $69.00! It is slow, but is adequate for getting my tires up to 120#, so considering its size, I like the tradeoffs with the bigger unit.
