A year ago I had a similar issue for my 2007 Damon Astoria. Dashboard A/C blew cold air when I purchased the motorhome two year ago but over the course of a year had no cool air. I added some R134 Freon which helped for a couple of months but once again only got warm air. Problem was found to be leaking A/C compressor seals. My extended warranty plan provider (XtraRide) decided replacing the compressor was cheaper than replacing seals in the compressor. My cost was the $250 deductible for the extend warranty coverage.

Your motorhome may use R22 Freon which was made unavailable to the general public per EPA regulations a few years ago. You should have a decal somewhere near or on the evaporator coil box at the front of your motorhome stating what type of Freon your dash A/C uses.

A freon leak may not be the problem. You could also have a worn-out clutch on the A/C compressor. The pulley on the A/C compressor may be spinning OK with the drive belt, but a bad clutch would prevent the compressor from functioning.

Probably best to find a good repair shop and have them look at your dash A/C system.

I wish I was smart enough to come up with the above information, but at least I can copy and paste.

Hopefully some of the information will help

Start by making sure the compressor on the engine and the condenser fan up front on the passenger side of the coach are running.

As Gary said. My compressor quit for no reason when my 14 was new. The tech found the blue wire wire loose on the AC box located in the center of the firewall behind the generator. That box will also have the tag with all the information for the A/C if a shop asks.

What year is your coach?
